Breast Cancer Analysis
We are a national leader in breast cancer predictive and diagnostic analysis, providing critical information on over 20% of all newly diagnosed breast cancer cases in the United States.

Prognostic & Predictive Markers
- ER
- MIB-1/Ki-67
- PR
- p53
- HER2 (IHC & FISH)
- EGFR
DNA Analysis
- S-phase and DNA index/ploidy by flow cytometry
Micrometastases Detection
- Lymph node by lHC
- Bone marrow by ICC
Chemotherapeutic Drug Resistance
- DRATM (Drug Resistance Assay)
Hormone Receptors
Estrogen and progesterone steroid receptors serve as receptors for growth factors stimulating tumor proliferation. The current guidelines for the use of these markers in the clinical setting are to:
- Predict response to therapy of metastatic disease
- Predict response to adjuvant therapy
Markers of Cell Proliferation
The combined use of MIB-1/Ki-67 and S-phase offers a precise interpretation of cell proliferation enabling S-phase to be compared with Ki-67, which detects all phases of the cycle except G0/.
HER2 Amplification/Expression
HER2 overexpression is associated with a varied positive response to the humanized monoclonal antibody Herceptin® in patients that have failed standard chemotherapy treatment. Amplification of the HER2 gene is associated with rapid proliferation, short disease-free survival and poor overall survival in both node-negative and node-positive ductal breast cancers. HER2 amplification also predicts resistance to standard chemotherapy and response to anthracycline agents (adriamycin) in high dose chemotherapy. Recent studies also show a strong association of HER2 gene amplification measured by FISH with response to Herceptin therapy in patients with advanced breast carcinoma.
Colorectal Cancer Analysis
The application of biomarkers in colorectal cancer has been extensively studied both biologically and clinically. This application is of strong prognostic and predictive (therapeutic) value for patient outcome.

Complex Tumor Analysis
For diagnostically difficult tumors, clients may choose from a list of profiles or provide relevant patient history, including provisional or differential diagnoses, and leave the rest to us.
Our pathologists will select the most appropriate combination of tests from our library of over 200 antibodies to evaluate the biological characteristics of the tumor and provide you with an accurate interpretation or diagnosis.
For your convenience, we have posted a PDF of our informative physician brochure on this page.
