Infertility Testing
- What are the different factors that may cause infertility?
- What genetic tests are available for causes of infertility?
- What will my test results tell me? How accurate are these results?
- What are the appropriate treatment options available to me, based on my test results?
- Where can I find additional information about infertility testing and treatment?
Postnatal Testing
- What is newborn screening?
- What kinds of tests are done when the baby is born? What will these tests tell me? When are they done?
- Where can I find additional information about genetic testing?
Preconception/Prenatal Testing
- What type of testing will I be offered over the course of my pregnancy?
- What genetic tests are appropriate for me, given my family history and ethnic background?
- Are there some genetic tests that are offered routinely to everyone?
- What is carrier screening?
- Why is it appropriate for some couples to have carrier screening?
- What is the difference between a screening test and a diagnostic test?
